1. Change the default password. Most Zclever cameras do not have a default password for the camera itself, but your app account does. Use a unique password (not "123456").

3. Rename your camera to something generic ("Office") instead of "Baby Room" or "Front Door Lock."
4. Keep firmware updated: The app will occasionally pop up "New firmware available." Install it. These often fix security vulnerabilities.
5. Avoid port forwarding. Do not manually open ports on your home router for the Zclever camera. It uses a P2P (Peer-to-Peer) connection which is secure enough for home use.
