For Long War of the Chosen (LWOTC) , use the following essential console commands to manage resources, soldier stats, and tactical situations. To enable them, add -allowconsole to your game’s launch options in Steam. Essential LWOTC Specific Commands LWForceEvac: Instantly spawns an extraction zone.
- Usage:

- Why it's better: Use this to skip the "proofing" time on weapons. If you want to test if a Plasma Rifle is worth the investment, spawn one, equip it on a soldier, and try it out in a mission. If you like it, revert the save and research it legitimately.

How to Enable the Console
Before you can bend reality, you need to access the developer console. For Long War of the Chosen (LWOTC) ,
- LWOTC reworks regions and outreach timers. Use commands that alter region states (AddRegionEffect, ForceMission) to test council missions, covert ops, and dark events.
- To simulate power curve changes, grant facilities, engineers, and resources using GiveResource and facility enabling commands in developer mode.
- ForceMission — Starts a mission template. LWOTC has its own mission templates; use exact names from mod files.
- AddRegionEffect — Alters strategic layer; LWOTC has custom geopolitical effects.
