This paper provides a critical examination of the film commonly referred to online as "Enthiran 2.0" and its distribution through illicit streaming sites such as “Tamilgun.” It treats three linked topics: (1) the film’s cinematic, technological, and cultural significance; (2) the impact of unauthorized distribution platforms that use names like “Tamilgun” to host or link to such films; and (3) legal, economic, and ethical implications along with practical mitigations for creators, distributors, and audiences.
