Stossgebet Fur Meinen Hammer
Stoßgebet für meinen Hammer (Ejaculatory Prayer for my Hammer) is a short film released in 1976, directed by the German filmmaker Hans Billian. Billian was a prolific figure in the German "Aufklärungsfilm" (education/exploitation) and adult film industry during the 1960s and 70s.
Solidarity: The hammer represents the collective strength of the working class—it is the tool that builds cities and shapes the world. Stossgebet fur meinen Hammer
- A self-invented title for a short prose piece or poem about manual labor, loss, and small everyday prayers.
- An ironic twist on religious devotion, where the hammer becomes a secular "god" or object of ritual attention.
- A reference to Martin Luther (who supposedly said "Here I stand, I can do no other")? No direct link, but Luther used strong, earthy language about tools and faith.
