What SmartGit is

SmartGit is a graphical Git client (and SVN/TFS bridge) used for managing repositories with a visual interface, staging, committing, branching, merging, and interacting with remote hosts (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.).

SmartGit is licensed per user (person). Even if you purchase multiple seats, you will typically receive one license file to be shared among all authorized users. Activation: Once purchased or granted, you will receive a license file via email. In SmartGit, navigate to Help > Register Product to upload the file.

  2. Activate via email: After payment, syntevo sends an email titled "Your SmartGit License" containing a download link or an attached .lic file.
  3. Direct download from your account: Log into the syntevo customer portal, go to "My Licenses", and click "Download license file".
