The biggest hurdle in Skylanders emulation is the "Please connect the Portal of Power" screen. You have two ways to solve this: Physical Method (Recommended)

Unless you have a modded Xbox 360 or are willing to wrestle with Xenia’s peripheral issues, you are better off buying the game legally on the modern Xbox Marketplace (where it runs beautifully at 4K on a Series X). If you are a preservationist, dump your own disc.
