6. Safety and Warnings

• Potable Water Only: Unless specifically rated for other uses, standard iPerl meters are for potable water distribution.
• Do Not Disassemble: The meter body is sealed. Attempting to open the sensor body will damage the measurement coils and void the warranty.
• Handling: While solid-state, the electronics housing is sensitive to impact. Do not drop or strike the register head.

• Over-tightening cracks the casting. The manual specifies: hand-tight plus 1.5 to 2 turns for 5/8" meters.
