Ps2 Redump Archive [FREE – 2024]
The Redump project is a high-accuracy disc preservation effort focused on creating bit-perfect "1:1" digital copies of physical media. For the PlayStation 2, these archives are widely hosted on the Internet Archive to ensure the long-term availability of gaming history. Key Redump Archive Links (Internet Archive)
Tips for accurate dumps and dealing with errors
- Retry reads on sectors that fail; many tools support re-reading bad sectors multiple times with different speeds.
- Use better-quality drives for problematic discs — some drives handle scratched discs better.
- Document the drive model, firmware, and settings used for the dump in the DAT or local notes.
- If a dump never matches known DAT entries, research alternate pressings, regional variants, or faulty originals.
- Preserve the original disc label, serials, and any packaging notes as provenance.

Tools You Need
- ClrMamePro: The gold standard for ROM management. It uses a "DAT file" (an XML document containing all Redump checksums) to scan your collection. It will rename, delete, or report bad dumps.
- CHDMan: A command-line tool to convert Bin/Cue to CHD and vice versa.
- PS2 Redump DAT file: Downloaded directly from the
redump.orgwebsite (under "Downloads" -> "DATs").
