3. Core Architecture of Project Eris

3.1. Boot Chain Modification

The PSC stock boot sequence:

  • PS1 Games: usually go in udisk/games/.
  • Other Systems: usually accessed via the RetroArch file browser.
  • For PS1: Change the renderer from "software" to "hardware" or set "Dithering" to off.
  • For SNES: Change the core to "SNES9x 2005" (faster) instead of "2010" (more accurate but slower).
