I can honestly say that Andrea's knowledge and guidance is top notch! He explains the principles well which helps you understand the concepts and structures within the Dart language.

This course is a great asset to anyone looking to improve their coding skills. Having Andrea by your side, you should feel privileged to have a mentor / coach of his caliber, who shares his knowledge in such an "easy to understand" manner. Thanks!

Andri De Jager

The Complete Dart Developer Guide

Clear explanations, a useful practical application that demonstrates all the core things essential to building an app ready for release into the wild.

Every step taken is clearly and thoroughly explained, plus downloadable code for every section of this course. A fantastic current course and is proving invaluable for strategies for building ideas for my own app.

Cannot praise this course and Andrea’s presentation highly enough.

This guide outlines the process for setting up PlayStation 3 using PKG files and adding game mods as of 2021. 1. Prerequisites PS3 with Custom Firmware (CFW) or PS3HEN

The 2021 PKG release for the PS3 represents a peak in optimization for the aging console. Developers worked to ensure that the engine could handle the high-definition output of the PS3 while maintaining the low-latency input required for frame-perfect combos. This specific version is highly valued because it simplifies the installation process. Instead of messing with complex directory structures via FTP, users can simply install the PKG file through the "Install Package Files" menu on a console running CFW (Custom Firmware) or PS3HEN.

  1. Obtain OpenBOR source and required dependencies.
  2. Use a PS3-compatible cross-compiler or build on a PS3 SDK environment to produce an ELF for the Cell processor.
  3. Prepare USRDIR with desired mods and assets.
  4. Create PKG metadata (PARAM.SFO, ICON0.PNG) and package ELF + USRDIR into a PS3 PKG using PS3 packaging tools (e.g., make_fself/make_pkg utilities used in scene development).
  5. Test on a PS3 with CFW; iterate on performance and controller mapping. Note: follow licensing obligations for included assets and code.

Furthermore, the "2021 PKG" boom relied heavily on a modded console. Installing these packages requires a PS3 capable of running Custom Firmware (CFW) or HEN (Homebrew ENabler). For retro enthusiasts, this is the price of admission for preserving a dying genre.

The OpenBOR PS3 PKG 2021 release—credited to dedicated homebrew scene contributors like lprot and m0dular (builds compiled by Aluigi and Hykem)—addressed nearly all of these issues. It was compiled using the PS3 SDK (PSL1GHT toolchain) and optimized for both CFW and HAN/HEN environments.

: Once the first PKG is installed from a USB drive, it creates a base installer on the console's hard drive. Automatic Pathing

Part 8: The Future – OpenBOR on PS3 Beyond 2021

As of 2025, the PS3 homebrew scene is quieter but not dead. No official “OpenBOR PS3 PKG 2024/2025” has been released, but the 2021 build remains the gold standard. Why? Because OpenBOR’s development for non-Windows platforms stalled after version 3.0 Build 6391 (PC). Console ports rely on that stable branch.

  1. Launch OpenBOR once. This creates the necessary folder structure on your internal HDD.
  2. Using a file manager (like MultiMAN or irisman), navigate to: /dev_hdd0/game/OPENBOR12345/USRDIR/ (Note: The folder name may vary slightly depending on the compiler—look for a folder with "BOR" in the title).
  3. Inside that USRDIR, create a folder called Paks (case sensitive).
  4. Copy your .pak files (e.g., SOR2X.pak, Avengers.pak) into that Paks folder.

The new Flutter in Production course is fantastic! It covers so many practical aspects of launching an app that I would have had to learn by trial and error.

I haven’t seen these topics covered in other courses, and the explanation is thorough. Andrea’s teaching style is clear and concise; I feel like I can learn the concepts quickly without getting bogged down in a lot of fluff.

Highly recommended if you want to become a pro Flutter developer!

Flutter In Production

This is by far the best Flutter course if you want to learn coding best practises while learning flutter, which I think everyone should.

I've taken two other top rated flutter courses in Udemy and speaking by experience.

Another impressive thing about this course is that most of the videos are around 5 minutes even to cover complex topics. I am pretty sure Andrea has put lot of work to make them as such.
