• No full SOA diagnostic authoring – Service 2.0 consumes ODX/OTX, but does not create it.
• Legacy control units (pre-2010) – require fallback to K-Line or CAN with VCI 1.5 mode.
• Offline session expiration – max 30 days without backend sync.
• High-speed DoIP – requires 100BASE-T1 OBD breakout cable for some vehicles.

• SFD Unlocking: Security Onboard Diagnosis is required for modules built after 2020 (e.g., Golf 8, ID. series). You must have ODIS online to generate the unlock tokens.
