Review Title: Essential for Signal Restoration, but Handle with Extreme Caution

Case C – Edit NVRAM file on PC

  1. Extract NVRAM partition via SP Flash Tool.
  2. Open in HxD – locate IMEI at offset 0x048000 (varies by firmware).
  3. Hex edit IMEI (15 digits BCD). Recalculate checksum at offset 0x048000 – last 2 bytes.
  1. Restore original NVRAM.bin if backed up.
  2. Otherwise, use SN Writer with correct APDB/BPDB files (extracted from firmware).
  3. As last resort, manually hex-edit IMEI and recalc checksum (risky, not recommended).
