1. Copy the .abs or .bin firmware file to the root directory of your FAT32 USB drive.
2. Insert the USB drive into the rear port (do not use the front panel port for major updates).
3. Press Menu on your remote control.
4. Navigate to Tools > Software Update > USB Upgrade.
5. Select the file and press OK.
6. Select "All Code + Bootloader" (do not choose "Application Only" unless you want a partial update).
7. Press Start. The receiver will reboot. Do not touch the power for 5 minutes.
