Install - Khmer Font On Mac
Installing Khmer fonts on a Mac is straightforward because modern macOS versions (like Sequoia or Tahoe) include Khmer support by default
- Review: This is the gold standard for web and modern UI. It is open-source, free, and handles every character perfectly. It is clean, modern, and legible.
- Download the font file (usually
.ttfor.otf). Locate it in yourDownloadsfolder. - Double-click the font file. This automatically launches the native Font Book application.
- A preview window will appear, showing a sample of the Khmer characters. Click the Install Font button at the bottom.
- Font Book will validate the font. If it reports no errors, the font is now active and available to all applications (Pages, Word, Chrome, etc.).
- With Font Book open, click on the “+” button at the bottom left corner of the window.
- Navigate to the location where you extracted the Khmer font file.
- Select the
.ttfor.otffile and click “Open”.
