IMVU uses a variety of chat commands and "trigger words" to help you interact with other users, control your avatar's animations, and manage chat rooms. Basic Communication Commands

Moderation, safety, and best practices

• Respect room rules; many rooms forbid command spamming or bot abuse.
• Avoid sharing personal info; do not trust commands or bots that request passwords, verification codes, or external payments.
• Report abusive users or bot behavior to room staff or IMVU support, and use /ignore for individuals who harass you.
• If you run a room with bots:
