Icaro Laser Software — User Manual
Overview
Icaro Laser is a desktop application for controlling laser engraving and cutting machines. It provides job setup, material/profile management, vector and raster processing, and machine monitoring. This manual covers installation, basic workflow, tool descriptions, common settings, maintenance tips, and troubleshooting.

10. Maintenance
- Weekly: Clean lens and mirrors with recommended solvents and lint-free wipes.
- Monthly: Check belt tension, rail lubrication, and pulley alignment.
- Annually: Replace mirrors/lens if pitted; service fans and exhaust.
- Keep firmware and software up to date; follow release notes before upgrading.
- The Canvas (Center): This WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) area represents your laser’s work bed. The manual explains how to set grid overlays, rulers, and origin points.
- Object Toolbar (Left): Tools for creating text, shapes, barcodes, and importing images (BMP, PNG, SVG, DXF).
- Layer Panel (Right): The heart of ICARO. Here you manage multiple layers, each with independent power, speed, and frequency settings.
- Control Console (Bottom): Real-time status updates, red-dot pointer control, and emergency stop simulation.
