Issue 1: "Assets Failed to Load" / Download Error

This is the most common issue with the 2.2 update on Android. The game tries to download "assets" but gets stuck or fails.

  1. Right-click the Speaker icon in your system tray.
  2. Go to Sounds > Playback tab.
  3. Right-click your active device (Speakers/Headphones) > Properties.
  4. Go to the Advanced tab.
  5. Disable "Enable audio enhancements."
  6. Change Default Format to "16 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)."
  7. Apply and restart Geometry Dash.
