The Year in Review: The Headlines We Didn’t Expect
- January: The Great Boiler Breakdown. School closed for 2 days. 40 kids discovered they hate snow. 40 parents discovered they hate snow.
- February: Valentine’s Day Mailbox Chaos. Someone put a live cricket in Liam’s shoebox. Liam cried. The cricket is now the class pet.
- March: Picture Day Disaster. The photographer’s car got stuck in the mud. We used Mrs. Callahan’s iPhone. The photos look like mugshots. We love them.
- April: The Talent Show. Winner: A 4th grader who can burp the alphabet. Runner up: A kindergartner who fell asleep on stage. Audience choice: The teacher band (one guitar, one kazoo, one tambourine).

Most importantly, Frontier Primary gave us each other. The friends we made here are the friends who shared our snacks, wiped our tears, and laughed at our jokes.
