[top] Download Unreal Engine 4.27 Offline Installer
There is no standard, standalone offline installer for Unreal Engine 4.27 available to general public users
Dependencies and prerequisites to include with offline package
- Visual C++ Redistributables (matching the version used to build/ship the binaries).
- .NET Framework or .NET Core runtimes if required by tools.
- Windows SDKs and DirectX runtime (June 2010 DirectX SDK not usually required for modern 4.27 but dependent tools might).
- Optional: UnrealBuildTool, Shader compiling tools, Derived Data Cache (DDC) if you want faster first launches (transfer the Saved/DerivedDataCache from a built project).
- Install and log into the Epic Games Launcher.
- Go to the Unreal Engine tab → Library.
- Click the “+” next to Engine Versions → select 4.27 (if not already installed).
- Before clicking “Install,” click Options and select all desired platform support (Windows, Android, iOS, Linux, etc.) and editor components.
- Start the installation – the launcher will download ~15–25 GB (depending on options).
- Once download completes (before or after full installation), navigate to the launcher’s cache folder:
- 64‑bit Windows 10/11, quad‑core CPU, 16+ GB RAM (builds may require more).
- Visual Studio 2017 or 2019 (for 4.27: Visual Studio 2017/2019 with C++ workload and recommended components).
- DirectX, .NET runtimes, and Platform SDKs (Visual Studio installer will add most).
- Sufficient disk space: built engine + projects can require 100+ GB.
. For most individual developers, the process requires either the Epic Games Launcher or building from source. Unreal Engine Official Organizational Method download unreal engine 4.27 offline installer
