Important Note: Batocera does not release a pre-made "32GB" image because SD cards vary in actual size. Instead, they release a base image (~2GB) that expands to fill your 32GB card on first boot. This guide shows you the correct, legal way to get Batocera for free.

1. Download Rufus or BalenaEtcher (free).
2. Open BalenaEtcher.
3. Select the Batocera .img.gz file (Etcher handles compressed files automatically).
4. Select your 32GB SD card.
5. Click Flash. Wait 3-5 minutes.

Folder structure:

1. Open roms/ folder
2. Create or enter a system folder (e.g., snes, nes, psx)
3. Copy your .zip or .sfc (etc.) ROM files there
4. Press Space on keyboard in Batocera menu → Game List → Update Game Lists
