1. Improve Text Clarity (Make it readable)
The PSP screen resolution is low (480x272), so text often looks blurry or pixelated. If you are playing on a PC or Android emulator (PPSSPP), you can make the text much sharper:
But the memory of better remains.
The PSP was powerful enough to handle Call of Duty 4. The hardware (333Mhz CPU, dedicated GPU) ran Medal of Honor Heroes 2 at 60FPS with 32-player multiplayer. So, the demand for a Modern Warfare demake was huge. Fans assumed it existed.
The year is 2009. Fourteen-year-old Leo Vargas doesn't want much from life. He wants to finish his geometry homework without his little sister drawing mustaches on it. He wants his mom to stop asking if he’s “eating enough vegetables.” And more than anything, he wants Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to not suck on his PSP.
The only official CoD entry for PSP, released in 2007, is set in World War II. Gameplay: Features US, Canadian, and British campaigns.

- Cons: Single-player only (bots), no full story campaign, AI can be buggy.
Preservation and cultural value
- PSP ports are part of Call of Duty’s history; preserving them helps document how franchises were adapted for handhelds.
- Legitimate archiving by museums, collectors, or rights holders helps cultural preservation; unauthorized distribution risks hurting creators’ rights.
